The first donations of journals for Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services, Inc.
These journals were collected at the Holiday Faire and were delivered in January 2013 during a planning meeting with Dale and Emily.
Special thanks goes out to our friends Kim and Sami Leavens for sewing and donating two journals with lovely fabric covers and the beautiful owl. Samantha and Sydney loved the owl so much they did not want to sell it at the sale but instead wanted to give it directly to Christine Ann for their moms' gifts supply.
Also a big thanks to those friends from our old troop who either donated a journal or shopped at our booth at the Holiday Faire. Your support was greatly appreciated.
While we met with Dale and Emily, we discussed our plans for drives at local high schools, a potential drive at a professional sports team, and what types of journals are favored by the women who use them. We are now prepared to make the best purchases with the $200 we raised in December.
